4+2 -part training course aimed at experienced colleagues who wish to train as Breath and Body Psychotherapeutic supervisors.
The focus of this type of supervision is the breath as a carrier of consciousness! Where the breath goes, so does the person's consciousness (energy follows thought -> thought follows energy). The supervisor is careful to perceive where their attention (breath) is directed in the field of relationship. It is about becoming aware of what is important in the field of perception for development and for the current therapeutic process (transference and somatic countertransference).
How do we define supervision and which known supervision methods can be usefully applied to Breath and Body psychotherapy, and which new methods need to be added?
How does Breath and Body Psychotherapy Supervision differ from other traditional types of supervision, for example analytical or Gestalt therapy supervision?
Peer groups: Application of what has been learned in local supervision groups
The training is completed with the “Certificate in Breath and Body Psychotherapeutic Supervision” and entitles the holder to use the professional title:
Supervisor IAKPT
The Work of the Institute is based mainly in the Freiburg area.
