On 23rd May 2013 the AFA accredited the Basic Training. Thereby graduates of the Basic Training can finish with a AFA accepted certificate in Breath Therapy (= Atemtherapie AFA®).

In February 1992 the institut was accepted with the Basic Training as an AFA-accredited trainings organisation. 1994-2003 the formation activities were resting. 21.11.2009 the AFA board of directors decided the reaccreditation of the IAKPT. Thereby graduates of the Advanced Training can finish with a German diploma Atempsychotherapie AFA® (= Breath Psychotherapy AFA® ).

 | DGK - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Körperpsychotherapie
26.09.2009 the IAKPT was accredited as organizational member as well as Psychotherapeutic Trainings Institute by the DGK. Thereby graduates of the Advanced Trraining can apply for a membership in the DGK and name the title Körperpsychotherapie DGK (=Body Psychotherapy DGK). Resignation as an organizational member 2018.

29.03.2009 in Paris the IAKPT was accepted as memberin the EABP-Forum. 28.03.2010 in Barcelona the accreditational process as Body Psychotherapeutic Institute has been finished. Termination of Forum membership in 2018.

 | CH - EABP Schweizerischer Verband für Körperpsychotherapie
24.02.2009 the IAKPT was accepted as organizational member as well as Body Psychotherapeutic Trainings Institute by the CH-EABP. Thereby graduates oft he Advanced Training can apply as member in the CH-EABP and name the title Körperpsychotherapie CH-EABP® (=Body Psychotherapy CH-EABP®). Termination of membership with the closure of the association in 2018.

06.10.2012 the IAKPT Thalwil/Switzerland was accredited as exceptional member by the Schweizer Chartafür Psychotherapie (=Swiss Charta for Psychotherapy). Resignation as extraordinary member 2018.

11.05.2015 the AFS decided to accept student and certificied applicants of the Breath and Body Psychotherapy Institute.

18.07.2023 the OdA KT has decided to register Stefan Bischof on their list of accepted Supervisors.
